      unfortunitly it is! I have pakistani friends born and living in America, who are also going through the same thing as this girl…all because their parents came to America carrying the same traditions from back home…the daughters usaully will get arranged married to some jatt cousin back in their village, then patition for him, then find him a job,car, etc…eventually he invites his family abraod, and they start treating the girl like shit.

If girl is financialy independent and can take care of herself, she will never accept such brutality because she has options to have a life without zulm. So girls, please please please, pay attention to your education/career. Be on your feet, so no one can do that much zulm on you. And if no one is willing to take your responsibility, you can take care of your self and live a respectful life as compare to a life of zillat with husband like mohsin
