  • Swagxx.

You guys seriously have problems. Yeah we’re Pakistani, so what? When you’re married to someone, can you not show any sign of affection to them? You guys are saying that it is wrong to celebrate a day of love, as in love is wrong? It’s not wrong, you’re allowed to fall in love with someone. You guys obviously do not celebrate mother’s day of father’s day, where we get gifts for them. I think that you should stop worrying about what other people think and just do what you want. If you’re like me, you’ll probably spend your Valentines Day with wifi and food. Note: I don’t think that because you like someone, you should date them. You should have some moral values. And I think that you should only spend Valentines Day when you’re engaged or married. Boyfriends are not acceptable. And btw, why are you commenting on the Zindagi Gulzar Hai promo?

  • esha rass

in our islm this is nt allowed to celebrat valentines day……so we should not….n ali n rrrrrrrrrrr shame on u……thoughts of u both r sooo negative…think positive…..

    • ali

even watching these dramas r not part of our religion- u see the girls r not fully covered n they r promoting love- SOOOO u shudnt be watchng them. true muslim u r- then stop watching!

  • virgopink

It’s a shame to read the comments regarding st. valentine’s day. it’s the height of ignorance that today’s youth think that it does not belongs to any religion and is merely a day to make money. Dear children, this is a religious celebration which has been manipulated by the international money makers . it is not permissible for Muslims to celebrate such days and follow the traditions of other religions. The message it conveys is totally against our belief system . let me put it the easy way… How many of you would like to see your own daughters, sisters and mothers falling in this trap? I am confident the answer would be NON. so why not speak against this evil practices and keep our houses and communities clean from such satanic rituals. May Allah keep us steadfast on the Deen … Aameen

    • sultana

im sorry i didnt understand your point would you please elaborate on how exactly the message of valentines day contradicts our religious views. The point you made about women falling in a trap is intriguing, i hope u would explain.

      • virgopink

I hope u understand that being a Muslim means you are bound to stay inside some moral and religious restrictions.

your first point is about the message of this day; so If you not Naive enough, you must know what today’s media, (dramas, music, songs etc) are preaching about this day. According to them this is a day when everybody should feel or fall in love and in order to acknowledge their mutual feelings they should send gifts flowers etc. definitely it’s a promotion of girl friend , boy friend relationship . These are western concepts and have no place in Islam. our religion emphasizes on respectable and lawful relations such as between a husband and a wife.
Secondly, regarding the trap … means that it’s part of the western agenda to assimilate all the different cultures so that the people across the globe follow their traditions. our youths especially the girls tend to follow their trend blindly and forget their religious and moral obligations towards their creator and family.

Last and not the least , there is no indication in Islam to set aside a day for any reason… neither for mother’s day and nor for the father’s day etc. we are bound to fulfill our duties on daily basis , not just on any one specific day. I hope you now understand how valentine’s day contradicts our Faith and Religion. for further clarification please read the following Hadith:

plz do something about Valentine Morning Shows…this is not our culture..they shouldn’t do that kind of stuff on TV…plzzzz write or say something…Agar Hum Nahi Bolain GE Tu Kon BOle Ga…

    • ali

lol your so funny-”do that stuff on tv” there are alot of things that shudnt be done on tv.. valentines is not anyones culture o religious day, its just a made up day..like mothers day fathers day basant day lol these are all just days.. its not part of our religion so if u can celebrate those days i dnt think there is any harm in celebrating a valentines day. at least ppl dnt get killed like in BASANT DAY. calm down man its just a day to make money- ppl spent alot of money buying things- good for the economy..i think u shud go protest on basant day where ppl are actually are harmed..

      • fda

        Its st.valentine not valentine

      • noori

Do you mind telling me what basant day is?

      • figg

cmon who told you we can celebrate valentines day?our prophet didnt practice it none of the sahaba did so why should we.mrs.saqib is right

      • ali

n there is an indication to celebrate mehndi? did our prophet dance on his daughters weddings? n the prophet celebrated basant (the kite festival) o mothers day? either u stick to religion n stop everything…n st valentine was not a religious thing- it was just a guy who declared his love on this day.. its not like it was jesus o mother mary who its based on.. its not a religious holiday man..

      • figg

ur right .we shouldn’t celebrate mehndizz n such thingz.n we should stik to the religion.let me ask u 1 question ,to u is ur religion important or other thingzz.?allah’s not gonna ask u how many mehndis u have celebrated or is he?
