its all about money, if Marina cant be sincere to Tanhaiyan herself then expecting others to pull off something specticular is not fair…. it seemed as if it was all done in a hurry. all 13 episodes had no storyline, instead they did extremely well to ruin our memories of orignal tanhaiyan, ie; Zara actually lead a real miserabli life, while Saniya lived all alone.. worst happened to Faran uncle… or bhai aapa ne kia jurm kia tha jo inki maut k baad un k bete ko criminal banadia…..

  i totally agree with you .. i dont know what was marina thinking .. and why the hell other cast members agreed on such a piece of crap .. no story, dialouges, script or even acting .. i just watched all the episodes of the original tanhayan, and it was amazing .. superb performance all around .. even marina herself did an outstanding job in that .. however, she should be sued for making such a sequel and taking away our beautiful memories .. she and the whole cast should be ashamed of themselves!!

This drama lost its way from 5th episode onward, Hasina moeen should've scripted the whole serial, Marina's role has been nothing but a loose button, direction should've been given to someone experienced. Episode 10-12 were the Crapiest !!!!

  i said from the beginning this is a drag,tab sab kitna boley they istopped watching it i dont even like the actors, adhey puraney kharoos, adhey naye bekar qism key na acting ati hey na shakal,chichorpan bey hayahi, qabacha look stupid now us waqat ki comedy ab pagalpan lagti hey. asal tanhayan ka impact bhi khatam kar dya.

its obvious those who like this drama have a very bad taste .. perhaps the only reason they like it b/c of that chichorapan it shows .. zarak holding zenya, sheroz holding serena etc .. those indian dramas have had an awful impact on viewers choice .. i mean seriously, just see compare the story, acting or direction with the original and you'll know what i am talking about .. and he is cute or she is cute does not make a drama worthy to watch, else we would have sana bucha and saba qamar in every drama

  Perhaps you are right because whenever I watch the old episodes I am captivated. I think it is not a matter of actor's sincerity but it is the director which makes difference. Old episodes were directed by Shahzad Khalil (the husband of Badr Khalil) who was a genius man. It is said that he changed the story which was not liked by Haseena Moin in the beginning but then she resolved but the changed story was a big hit not only in Pakistan but in India too. Indians liked this play so much that they are still obssesed about the name Zara.

Old Tanhaiyan was decent. All the actors were sincere with their roles. That drama had a heart touching story. But this one… full of chhichhor pan, shamelessness, stupid dressing and the story also is not at all attractive. Perhaps the story was not adjustable because of Shehnaz Sheikh's absence. In old Tanhaiyan Shehnaz Sheikh and Marina Khan did great acting, but zeeniya and sereena could not show that quality. The Hero of Zeeniya, Zarak is also not so perfect to be the main Hero of the drama.
Zara's death story is also not strong enough. the anti-depressent medicines do not cause mental problems so severely that the patient die.
